Janet Wood is one of the founding members of The Group Repertory Theatre and played "Little Miss" in the theater's very first production, "Round Dance." A few of the many shows in which she has performed are "In the Boom Boom Room," "Company," the musical "Reaching Up," "Milagro," "Broken Glass," as well as winning an ADA award for her work in the long running show, " The Baby Dance," at the American Renegade Theater. She also starred in the Equity production of "Everybody's Girl" in Seattle. Her television credits include "Monk," "Six Feet Under," "Charmed," "The Wonder Years," "Melrose Place" along with 30 other episodes and MOW's. Janet appeared as the original "April" on "Young and Restless" and was also a regular on "Days of our Lives." She has done roles in 15 films as well. She most recently completed the Internet series "Elect Me '08." Janet is madly in love with Dr. Jay Silverman, who, luckily enough, happens to be her husband |
